Ming II reinvents the Pan-Asian cuisine that Ming Restaurant, in Edison, NJ, has become famous for.

Among the traditional Indo-Chinese, Malay, and Thai favorites, the Chef prepares a wide array of mouth-watering delicacies that are unique to his Calcutta upbringing.

The intimate dining space has curved ceilings and soft-lighting to make it feel romantic and cozy.

The breath-taking wine room features a wide array of wines from around the globe.

Chef Michael Chu

 Michael John Chu is Executive Chef for Ming II. Chef Chu has been cooking from an early age. He was always helping his mom in their kitchen. It was natural that he chose cooking as his profession. 

Chef Michael Chu has been trained in Hong Kong, Thailand, India and Singapore by renowned chefs. He has worked at various five star properties all over Asia. Chef Chu loves cooking Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and dishes from all over Asia!

After working at “The Golden Oryx” in Oman and Seafood Paradise Restaurants in Dubai, Chef Chu got the opportunity to work in the USA with Mehtani Restaurant Group. He conceptualized Ming II in Morristown.

Chef Chu speaks 5 languages and is an avid swimmer.
